The principals of the company are Howard Jones and Angela Dutton, both qualified Investors in People registered specialists. Both are also quality-approved HRD Advisers for the Welsh Assembly Government and members of the institute of Business Consultants.
They are qualified assessors for the European Business Excellence Model (EFQM) and are currently qualifying as Business Support Service providers.
Howard Jones is a trainer and consultant with over 20 years experience. After three years with Nat West Bank, Howard joined the International Thomson Organisation where he worked in marketing, HR and as a management trainer as well as launching the magazine publishers, Thomson Media Services. Howard left ITO to become director of a marketing company, with responsibility for its human resources development division. He is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development.
Angela Dutton left University College Cardiff with a BSc (Econ) Hons in Management Science in 1985 and gained a diploma in Business Studies in 1986. She then worked for 2½ years as a journalist and for three years with a marketing company, initially working on PR and marketing projects and then for its human resource development division. Angela is a fully licensed Investor in People assessor.
Howard and Angela are supported by office manager, Sheila Jones, who holds personal assistant/secretarial qualifications. Sheila joined the team in 2003 and brought with her several years experience gained in senior secretarial and admin positions in universities, colleges and industry. She acts as first point of contact for clients contacting the practice and ensures that clients receive a fast and accurate response at all times.
